There are bad effects in career changes among students and these effects should be instilled into their minds so that they will be guided properly to the right path. Education nowadays can be so tricky if students are not keen enough to know where they should stand especially in the most crucial issues about career change. Below are major effects in career change which might happen to students if they are not careful about their choices in life.
1. Lack of interest – Students who made a shift in career and still find it a bad decision could lose his interest in his studies. This is very common among young students of today. Just because their decision was influenced by their friends or whoever in the family, they ended up losing hope because they cannot cope up with the demands of the new career they have shifted. Students with this problem should take care of their children so that he would be guided to finish at least a year and never wasted their hard-earned money.
2. Wants to drop course – Many students who already lack interest in their course would feel uneasy to the point of wanting to drop their courses. This is very crucial and parents should help them and encourage them to finish the course. The only way to guide them is to keep watch of their daily tasks. You will know if they’re not attending classes or just went to movies and takes a leave of absence from the class, simply because they are not interested on the subject matter.
3. Avoid career change – The most important thing to do before deciding for a career change is to guide the students to choose wisely their future careers. The most crucial stage in this is during their last year in high school. Parents should be there during the times they needed help and advice what degree course to pursue in college. Career Change can be avoided if parents are there present during the times their students need them.
