ReadingThis 2009, its been seen that its quite a challenge to get a job employment even those individuals holding with bachelors degree or masters graduate but these young individuals needs to work in order to sustain their daily needs. In regards to this job and economic concern, the Project YES is now working to support those high schools juniors and seniors who needed job employment in order to support their educational expenditures. This program will not only provide financial support to those young learners but as well gain skills and acquire different life experiences that are very essential aspect in order to become productive members of the society. This Project YES is a educational program that been funded by Enterprise for Employment and Education that been by the Chemeketa Community College with the Boys and Girls Club. This Project YES offers support to those learners those ages 17 to 18 that entirely faces social and economic challenge. In which, they will be entirely provided great chances in order to set their career goals and be able to obtain real life work experiences.

Learners are entirely provided occupational educational skilled training, leadership career development, workplace tours, adult educational teaching and some comprehensive guidance. With this project, it supports a lot of developing the next workforce of the nation through supporting learners completing their high school education and be able to learn in regards to the working world. Since, most of the learners involve in this program don’t even gain support from their home while staying in their educational learning institutes or just supporting financially their household. Learners start going through core workshops that includes focusing the goals, strengths, job application, resume writing, skills, and money management. After completed the workshop, the youngster will start their job search and application processing for post secondary educational learning.

The Project YES also provided support for bus passes upon going to work or schooling, professional interviewing attire, and the text books that been required if they chooses to continue their educational learning. Several young individuals who have gained support from this Project YES are very much glad due to the mere fact that they have learn lots of aspects that can eventually improve themselves and as well support them financially.
